- This is one of those things which "sometimes fails." An irq conflict
- is a time bomb, and is VERY likely to cause problems sooner or
- later, in this case sooner. If you can use another irq for the modem
- you are very likely to have it work, and if it doesn't you will know
- that the conflict is not the problem, which is still helpful.

- I usually use irq5 if available, or 2. 7 is the lpt irq, you might
- really want that. I haven't seen the internal 28.8 recently, so I
- can't say if the 16 bit irq's are available, if so try 10.
